We encourage everyone involved in Gatherings to apply for alternative, complementary grants from SSHRC and elsewhere for any part of your research. Any funding that assists your own research assists the project; and we are, after all, here to pool our resources and our knowledge where we can. You will find pages here that we hope will help with a number of SSHRC grants, and we hope that you will all help each other by providing anything you find out from your other sources--your own Research Services, and colleagues. We hope to have online meetings that will discuss grants well in advance of any due dates. In the meantime, for each grant, we are providing a document with any advice the PI can give, or that has been given to him, along with a basic outline of what is needed to make an application.
